Are there any temperatures that are too hot or too cold for Brewsy?Updated a year ago
The sweet spot for Brewsy is between 75°F and 85°F.
If your temperature is below that, the yeast in your Brewsy bag won't die — but they may go dormant, and they won't be able to convert as much sugar into alcohol.
Luckily, there are a lot of different ways to create a warm environment for your Brewsy!
If your wine, cider, or mead is brewing in temperatures over 88°F, the yeast may start to get a little stressed out, and they might produce some off-flavors from stress.
Don't worry, though, your yeast won't die until about 110°F. Just move your Brewsy to a cooler place and you'll be good to go.
